As you can imagine, things have been very hectic, on this site since the board made the decision to sack Matt Bloomfield.

Thankfully, that is just how I like it!

But, keeping a watchful eye on the comments submitted, it is noticeable that several posters have had a word or two to say about our Chief Executive Officer, Gary Sweet.

While it is always easy to blame the manager when things go wrong, always the straightforward way out, people are asking whether it is time for change at the top.

Now, I am not suggesting for one minute that there should be some kind of coup to overthrow Gary Sweet, far from it, as the club has so much to thank the current Hatters hierarchy for.

But those who visit this site are asking if the club would be better served, from the top, if the club were to appoint a Director of Football to oversee the football side of things, leaving Gary Sweet to focus on the Power Court development, perhaps believing it is too much to take on full responsibility for both.

Now I can see the advantages in such a move being taken but how would...
