While Jakub Stolarczyk’s start to his first season as Leicester City’s number one has not been flawless, it has been pretty good. In fact, it may have been overlooked how well he is doing.

When a team is not on the best of runs, as is the case at City at the moment, there’s a hyper-focus on any and all negatives.

While nobody would say that Stolarczyk has been the centre of City’s issues during their run of one win in seven, there have been murmurings of criticism towards the Pole.

There were a few quibbles from the fanbase, for example, that he should have done better for Portsmouth’s equaliser last weekend, with John Swift’s strike beating him at his near post.
