Marti Cifuentes will hope his anger sparks a Leicester City reaction when they head to Millwall on Saturday.

City go to The Den on the back of just one win in seven matches and with tensions rising in the fanbase.

During Tuesday’s defeat to Hull, the travelling fans chanted “Marti, Marti, sort it out” as their team were torn apart in the first half.

Prior to the match at Hull, Cifuentes had said his players were angry following their draw with Portsmouth. But that didn’t provoke a response, instead City producing perhaps their worst 45 minutes of the season at the MKM Stadium.

That poor showing left Cifuentes himself unhappy, and he will hope his emotions and this week’s debriefs generate a response from his players.

“Now my job is to make sure we find the right reaction,” he said. “To do that, every player requires a different message. It should be our benchmark as a team to react to every situation.
