With one goal between them, Leicester City’s strikers are the lowest-scoring in the Championship.

At every other club in the division, either a single striker has scored at least two goals or their set of centre-forwards have done so as a collective.

For City supporters, so used to having a reliable goalscorer in Jamie Vardy leading their line, it’s become one of the biggest sources of concern over their team.

For manager Marti Cifuentes, it doesn’t feel quite as alarming. He has pointed out, rightly, that only four teams have scored more than City in the Championship this season and that he “would be more concerned if we were not creating goal chances”.

However, it could be argued City are not creating chances to the degree they should be doing.
