Liverpool have lost three games in a row for the first time under Arne Slot.

The Reds were expected by many to romp to the Premier League title once again due to the number of top quality additions they have made to their squad.

However, the first seven games would suggest that the story is going in a very different direction, with Liverpool, arguably, looking like one of the most unconvincing teams in the league.

Although they won their opening five games, most of them relied on last-gasp winners, with their luck looking like it has run out.

Arne Slot certainly has plenty to think about, but former Manchester United goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel believes there is an obvious reason why they have started so slowly.

Not only did Liverpool sign a lot of players this summer, they also let a fair few go, with there certainly having been a major shake-up.
