Alan Sheehan agrees Ethan Galbraith is ready for the Premier League - but insists Swansea City have no intention of selling him any time soon.

Galbraith has already emerged as a star man for the Swans following his summer move from Leyton Orient, and has seen his stock rise even further while on international duty with Northern Ireland.

Fans in Belfast were left at the star's sparkling showing against Germany at Windsor Park on Monday, with some even claiming Galbraith upstaged Liverpool's £116m man Florian Wirtz on the night. Sign up to our Swansea City newsletter here.

Swans legend Lee Trundle was among the chorus of praise, claiming the 24-year-old was already good enough to play in the Premier League.

"I wouldn't disagree with that," Sheehan said when Trundle's comments were put to him ahead of Saturday's trip to Southampton.

"He's our player, and obviously the recruitment team have done a great job in bringing him here. So for him to be here. Now we get to protect him.

"Let's keep him here...
