Hannes Delcroix says he enjoyed his spell at Swansea City earlier this year.

Friday’s edition of Gazet van Antwerpen have published an interview with the 26-year-old, where he talks about his loan move to Swansea City.

The Belgian-born defender left Anderlecht for Burnley in August 2023 and didn’t feature regularly at Turf Moor.

His debut season was cut short when he suffered an ankle injury in April 2024. The defender was on the sidelines until November of that year and found it difficult to regain his place.

Swansea City signed Delcroix on loan in January, and the move worked out well for the two parties. He played 888 minutes from 12 matches for the Welsh club, operating mainly as a centre-back.

Last summer, he returned to his parent side, who secured promotion to the Premier League. Scott Parker then left the player out of his plans this season.

The defender also failed to find a new club last summer and has to settle for a role with the reserve team. He wants a move in the next window.
