Sheehan quandary & local media hatchet job on the Swans head coach

Swansea City head coach, Alan Sheehan now has what Luke be described as an issue this evening.One which he didn’t think he would have as the summer window moved slowly towards the season starting. It isn’t an embarrassment of riches as such, more than a group of players who have yet to really catch fire in a Swansea shirt.

The inclusion of Cameron Burgess (Aus) and Eom (S.Kor) will depend upon fitness tomorrow after thousands of miles of travelling this past few weeks. Both it seems have returned without any real issues, but as ever if there is even a slight niggle they really do need identifying immediately. Marko Stamenic is a good point in case, he plays a very different role for his country than he does for Swansea. He is more advanced and aggressive for the Kiwis. When he started his Swans career he was just that, but now it seems Sheehan wants him to be more withdrawn and less of a danger, almost a role which Jay Fulton has had.
