SAINTS boss Will Still has told his players to stop feeling sorry for themselves and to start turning draws into wins, starting with Swansea this afternoon.

Southampton, who start the weekend 17th in the Championship, are yet to win back-to-back games in the division following their relegation from the Premier League.

Still believes some of his players are overly worried about making mistakes, and wants them to rid the shackles to play with more freedom.

They will need to do that without problem-solver Ross Stewart up front, with the Scot now sidelined until the start of 2026.

Still will need to call on out-of-form forwards to fill the 29 year old's void in order to pick up Southampton's second three points at St Mary's this season.

Asked about the conundrum up front with Stewart sidelined, Still said: "That's our job, but there also needs to be a realisation that we have a very big squad of players.
