Liverpool return to action this week following a two-week international break.

The Reds have been travelling the world, trying to secure World Cup qualification or compete in international friendlies for their national teams.

While the break is not very helpful for players, given the already packed football schedule, it sometimes gives those who have underperformed a chance to get back in form.

Fans may not have seen enough of Andy Robertson this season to say that he has not been at his best, but in his brief cameos, he has at times looked less energetic than Liverpool fans are used to.

However, following the Chelsea game, where he had seemingly picked up a knock, the Scotsman has found game time captaining the Scottish national team in their qualifiers over the past week.

The star competed in two games for his national side with a 3-1 comeback win over Greece and last night a 2-1 victory over Belarus.

This latter game was not a highlight for the 31-year-old and his side, with boos swirling around Hampden Park for what many in the press have panned as a dull performance.
