Liverpool have some great young talent at their disposal thanks to their great academy setup.

Arne Slot’s side may have had a £400 million makeover, but they still have some special young players in their youth ranks who are either ready to burst into the first team or are already there.

This season saw the debut of Rio Ngumoha to much fanfare, and his goal against Newcastle United to win the game 3-2 was an exciting moment for fans to look into the future.

Ngumoha is just one player who has been touted for success, with the other being Jayden Danns, who is currently out with an injury.

The striker had featured in games when Jurgen Klopp was manager, most notably in the FA Cup and League Cup, but he is someone that the club and U21s coach Rob Page are very high on.

Page has spoken about the talent of the English forward in a recent interview, where he claimed that he could be England’s future Harry Kane after seeing his performances.

It was a massive show of respect and faith from his manager, but it had caught the eye of pundits because of how bold the statement was.
