Marcelo Bielsa is never far from the thoughts of Leeds United fans and the Argentine is set to reunite with one of his former players today.

The Uruguay boss takes on the Dominican Republic and Junior Firpo in a friendly this afternoon (Friday, October 10) at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium in Malaysia, having guided the team to World Cup qualification.

Bielsa took on his current role just over a year after being dismissed as United boss and has lost just six of his 30 matches in charge of La Celeste, with 13 fixtures won. Leeds has always remained close to his heart throughout.

Since his exit from Elland Road, frequent stories have emerged of the great man taking time to chat with Whites fans, taking delight in reliving his time in LS11, almost always privately away from cameras.

Not only is he popular with fans but also his former Whites players, who often wax lyrical about the 70-year-old, who himself was recently seen giving a seminar on how to get the best out of football players.
