Harry Abbot has been named locally as the 19-year-old who was "stabbed before being dumped" onto a driveway in St Wilfrid's Crescent, Harehills just after 12pm on Wednesday, October 8. He was pronounced as dead shortly afterwards. Police have not yet formally identified him but his next of kin has been told.

West Yorkshire Police have opened a murder investigation and believe the teenager was injured in a fight in Seacroft. The force is investigating two separate scenes linked to his death, in Parkside View in Seacroft, and Amberton Crescent in Gipton.

A dark-coloured Ford Focus was used in the killing and was later found in Gipton. Harry was then "thrown" out of a vehicle onto a driveway in front of a relative’s home.
