Josuha Guilavogui says he has not yet lost hope of finding a new club, with the midfielder still a free agent four months after leaving Leeds United.

The 35-year-old was released by the Whites upon the end of his contract in June and has yet to agree terms with a new employer. The manner of how last season finished - lifting the Championship title thanks to a stoppage-time goal - led him to contemplate whether retirement was written in the stars.

However, Guilavogui has not made that decision just yet and is still available for hire. The France international continues to train, pointing out that he didn’t join Leeds as a free agent last year until October.

Speaking about his situation to Girondins 4ever, Guilavogui explained: “I’ll play football, but now the notion of happiness comes first. Can I go to a club that will give me the opportunity to be happy? I love football, of course.
