Marti Cifuentes has praised Jordan James after the Wales international scored his first goal for Leicester City.

The 21-year-old, who moved on loan from Rennes in the summer, made his third start for the Foxes, in a No. 8 role just in front of Harry Winks.

He put in a very positive display, the highlight of which was an intricately-crafted and well-finished strike ten minutes before half-time.

City couldn't hold on for the win and registered their fourth draw in a row but Cifuentes liked what he saw from the former Birmingham City midfielder.

"Very good because he's a player that we know he can score goals from the second line," he told BBC Sport Leicester

"I think the goal is exactly one of his strengths, in my opinion.

"He can play a little bit on the base, a little bit on the pocket, but he's got this energy, this capacity to get in the second line, and hopefully that's the first of many."
