SAINTS boss Will Still was left wondering if he had accidentally "squashed a cat" after his team's bad luck in front of goal continued against Swansea.

The St Mary's side drew 0-0 with the Welsh visitors, despite both Cameron Archer and Caspar Jander having open goals in each half of the game.

They were two of the 21 shots Saints had against Swansea, which also included a brilliantly saved Nathan Wood header from a corner-kick.

Saints are unbeaten in four Championship matches, but have won only 12 points from their first 10 games of the season, and feel unfortunate.

They have created more expected goals than 22 of the 23 other teams in the division, and Still believes their luck is surely bound to change soon.

After the match, he said: "Honestly, I'm delighted with the performance, I'm delighted with everyone's commitment, energy levels and quality.

"We've reduced a good team to hardly anything. I'm bitterly disappointed, for the fans as well, who are frustrated, which I can understand.

"But I don't think a team can play any better...
