SAINTS managed 21 shots in their pursuit of a goal against Swansea City, but ultimately drew blank and slumped to a disappointing 0-0 draw.

In both halves, Cameron Archer and Caspar Jander missed an open goal on rebounded efforts from their teammates, as hatfuls of chances went begging.

Saints have only scored four goals in five home games this season, and two of those were in the opening weekend win against Wrexham two months ago.

The result does mean Saints are unbeaten in four league outings, their best run since April 2024, but have won only 12 points from 10 matches.

It piles pressure on manager Will Still, who has only won twice in the Championship since he was appointed at St Mary's earlier this summer.

There were four changes for Saints, with two enforced by the three-month injury to Ross Stewart and a minor groin concern for Joshua Quarshie.

Taylor Harwood-Bellis and Archer came in to replace them, while Elias Jelert and Welington also replaced their counterparts at wing-back.
