Crystal Palace loanee Matheus França has shared a moment of reflection as he continues his adaptation period at Vasco da Gama,. The Crystal Palace owned player admitted the international break came at the right time for both his body and mind, as relayed by local outlet BolaVip.

The Brazilian attacker, still only 21, is trying to find his rhythm again after a long stretch of physical setbacks that limited his playing time in England and slowed his return to form in Brazil.

He believes this international break will be essential to keep progressing. “It’s very important to keep working hard and to rest during this international break. I’m feeling good physically. I’ve been coming on more often in matches, and I just want to keep improving,” he said.

Since joining Vasco, França has been carefully managed by Fernando Diniz and the club’s medical staff, who remain focused on helping him regain match fitness without rushing the process.
