Arne Slot has been brilliant for Liverpool so far, and he has drawn the praise of former Premier League stalwarts along the way.

The Dutchman was a real unknown for many fans when he joined the club in 2024 following the departure of long-time manager and legendary figure Jurgen Klopp.

However, despite his lack of notoriety, Slot was able to mastermind a league title win in his first season at Anfield, which is highly unusual for any manager to do.

The 47-year-old has taken it in his stride, and while his start this season has not been as impressive, the likelihood of him leading this squad to back-to-back trophies is high.

What has happened in the last three games is a culmination of the issues the Reds have been facing all season in terms of setup and individual performances, but it is nothing he will not be able to fix.
