Liverpool need to get back to winning ways as soon as possible.

Although the international break is often frowned upon, October’s break genuinely doesn’t feel like it could have come at a better time for Liverpool.

The Reds were in a massive slump, with Arne Slot’s men managing to lose their last three games across all competitions.

In fact, things were so bad that some fans were even calling for the head of the Dutchman and for Mohamed Salah to be dropped.

And, while these were likely just reactionary takes after losing against Chelsea, it shows how much can change in such a short space of time.

Liverpool were touted to be the favourites to win the Premier League this term, but most fans and pundits, such as Gary Lineker, have now changed their minds and believe Arsenal will win it.

Although things haven’t been at their best for the last few games with Liverpool, the fact that they’re second in the Premier League shows how well they’ve actually done.

Despite losing two top-flight games, they’re still just one point behind first-place Arsenal, a team that they’ve already beaten this term.
