Liverpool have had some players underwhelm this season, but there is still plenty of time for them to get back into their usual form.

The international break is in full swing for the Premier League as players from the club have to put their poor form behind them to play for their national sides before returning to action.

Arne Slot’s men have not had a great end to the period before the break, losing three matches in all competitions and slipping to second place in the league, one point behind Arsenal.

The Reds have been let down by some individual performances this season, especially in defence, but many pundits have been focusing their criticism on one forward in particular.

Mohamed Salah has not scored since the Atletico Madrid game in the Champions League and has struggled to have as much influence as usual in Liverpool games.

However, Salah is a legend of the club and the league, and the criticisms of pundits do seem disrespectful given that he has come off his best individual season.
