There are many traits needed if a player is to be successful in the Premier League, as there is not a sole attribute that is enough for them to get by.

Players need a mix of all, but one characteristic that they may need compared to other leagues is physicality.

English football is a lot more demanding than other countries, with the pace and power second-to-none, meaning many need to bulk up and adjust.
