Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner has insisted the foundation of their recent success is their team spirit.

SportBILD have an interview with the Crystal Palace boss today as the Eagles continue to soar under his leadership.

It’s been nothing short of a remarkable turnaround at Selhurst Park since Glasner’s arrival in 2024, with him leading them to safety that year before going further last season.

An FA Cup win, the club’s first major trophy, secured a place in Europe while they also won the Community Shield against Liverpool. Until last weekend, they were also on the longest unbeaten run in Europe at 19 games.

Most have credited this to Glasner and the system he’s introduced, but he believes that it’s something beyond him.

“The foundation of our success is our team spirit,” he said.

“With the exception of Eze, the 15 players with the most playing time have stayed. With us, everyone knows what they have to do. That’s how you start a season on a different level.”
