Liverpool player photographed in Barcelona today - Encourages drama around potential transfer
This week, we’ve seen Darwin Núñez fuelling transfer rumours by deleting (or archiving) all of his Liverpool-related pictures on Instagram.
If that had already been enough for the Spanish media to say he could soon arrive at Barcelona, he’s now done something else that only feeds those stories.
As reported by Sport, Núñez has been in the Catalan capital, and didn’t try to hide it, as he reposted an Instagram story shared by Barça defender Ronald Araujo showing them together.
Sport point out there have been stories about that possibility, pointing out there’s been some ‘tension’ with Darwin being out of the Reds’ starting team on occasion recently.
The lack of Liverpool-related pictures on his Instagram is again mentioned as a sign that he could soon be off, although there are no details on Barcelona potentially negotiating for him.
Barcelona would obviously struggle to but the player, so perhaps it’s better for Darwin Núñez and Liverpool to make up.
