Albion’s reputation as one of the top-flight’s smartest talent factories has been underlined again by new data.

Research from the BBC looked at minutes played by academy graduates in the current 2025-26 Premier League season.

First place was Chelsea, with 5673 minutes played. Second was Manchester City with 5162. Third place belonged to The Seagulls, with 3846 minutes played for academy graduates.
