It's been an interesting season for Brighton and Fabian Hurzeler. Whilst they are on a hot streak, there have been tetchy moments.

In December, Albion were unable to win a game. This also happened last year with Hurzeler in charge.

And it was only two months ago that some fans were shouting 'Hurzeler out'. However, the 33-year-old has remained calm and weathered the storm.

Nearing the end of this campaign, sources have suggested that Fabian could move away this summer.

Sky Germany's Florian Plettenberg had reported that Leverkusen is 'keeping a close eye' on Hurzeler.

They had also said he is among 'leading candidates' to succeed current coach Hjulmand.

Former Brighton forward Warren Aspinall let his feelings be known about the managerial gossip.

Whilst on the Albion Unlimited podcast, the former Seagulls man said: "He's going nowhere...

"He's in the best league in the world.

"What is he going to do with Bayer Leverkusen? All the spotlight is on the Premier League. If you're doing well there, you get a chance to go to a big, big club.
