The Rangers Review reported last month that Club 1872 had held discussions with Andrew Cavenagh and his hierarchy over plans to restore areas and items of historical significance for the benefit of fans.

That came just weeks after we revealed that the board had launched a consultation survey with punters to gauge opinions on blueprints for the potential expansion of the stadium and upgrades to hospitality suites and the matchday experience.

Club 1872 gave members a chance to shape a series of heritage projects in and around Ibrox following discussions with the board over a £220,000 investment.

This plan also allows the fan organisation to contribute to future fundraising rounds to bolster their shareholding.

The restoration efforts will focus on the Trophy Room, Blue Room, and Manager’s Office, located at the peak of the renowned marble staircase.

Enhancements in these rooms will include improving lighting, artifact preservation, and refurbishing the existing decor, including paintings in the Blue Room.
