The Welshman had been at hometown club Cardiff for his full career, playing over 200 games, before Neil Lennon persuaded him to head to Glasgow when his contract came to an end in 2010.

However, it was while prior to that when Ally McCoist sw him scoring AGAINST Celtic in pre-season for the Bluebirds.
