Rangers head coach Danny Rohl has provided a positive update on the club's pursuit of winger Andreas Skov Olsen.

Rangers reached an agreement with Wolfsburg on Wednesday to sign the Danish international on loan until the end of this season.

A permanent transfer might be on the cards for the summer after an option was negotiated with the Bundesliga team.

Skov Olsen might sign in time for the Scottish Cup tie on Friday.

Rohl's side have been looking to make an addition to challenge Jayden Meghoma after exiting the summer window with only one left-back.

Rommens, the second addition, is a 22-year-old who has nine Belgium Under-21 caps to his name.
