Rangers have been active in the winter market, with Tochi Chukwuani and Tuur Rommens already arriving at Ibrox. Danny Röhl’s side are still looking to bring in new faces to the club before the window closes.

VfL Wolfsburg’s Andreas Skov Olsen is another main target for Rangers this month. Three days ago, the German press first reported on the Ibrox club making contact to sign him.

Later that day, Bild reported Rangers are in negotiations with the Bundesliga side to sign the Denmark international on loan.

Wolfsburg want a loan fee and were in talks with Röhl’s side over that and a buying option. On Wednesday morning, Tipsbladet reported Rangers have agreed to their terms. They also stated the winger was scheduled to travel to Scotland.

Later that day, Bold pulled things back. They insisted the deal wasn’t in danger and it could go through this week. However, Skov Olsen didn’t travel yesterday because the two clubs were still sorting out the final details of the operation.
