Rangers won’t want to repeat what happened with Oscar Cortes, who was signed permanently after his loan spell.

In February 2024, the Gers signed the 22-year-old on loan from Lens with an obligation to buy that same summer for £4.5million.

Cortes has now joined Huracan on loan, his second destination this season from the Light Blues after moving to Sporting Gijon in the summer.
