Rangers are close to agreeing personal terms with Andreas Skov Olsen as they look to complete a loan move for the Wolfsburg winger.

A left-footed forward who would add serious firepower to the Ibrox side’s attack, Skov Olsen has been identified as the blockbuster signing who could help boss Danny Rohl’s title push.

With Champions League pedigree as well as 40 caps for the Danish national team, the 26-year-old is highly coveted by a number of clubs around Europe.

But Rangers are now increasingly confident of getting a deal over the line after holding positive talks with Skov Olsen’s representatives.

It’s believed that the player would be keen on a move to Glasgow, and sees the chance to fight for a league title as the ideal way to reignite his career.
