Footballer Andy Halliday has revealed he almost moved to the US with Minnesota United but couldn't secure a visa.

The midfielder left Rangers in 2020 and considered a move to the States, only for legal hurdles to scupper the potential transfer.

Instead, he eventually found himself at Hearts.

He won the Championship and enjoyed an Edinburgh derby double before heading off to Motherwell.

Reflecting on his career trajectory and the pivotal summer of 2020, the 34-year-old spoke on BBC Scotland show Open All Mics about how his fate almost looked very different.
