Wrexham’s Josh Windass has been unexpectedly linked with a return to Rangers in January.

Danny Rohl wants new additions through the door this month with Rangers now in a healthy position to challenge for the Scottish Premiership title.

The Bears have been slowly chipping away with results in the league, as the Gers boss seems to have completely lifted the mood in Glasgow since his arrival.

Rangers have been tipped with a move for Windass this window, and although Wrexham aren’t keen on selling their star, the Bears could throw an appealing figure at the Championship side.

However, if the former Rangers man does indeed come back to Ibrox in January, he will almost certainly have to hit the ground running for a few reasons.

Rangers supporters have already voiced their opinions online over the potential signing of Windass, with many of the opinion that they don’t want the forward back.
