Gareth Taylor has admitted that the Liverpool squad “needs some help” in the January transfer window, amid summer sales, recent injuries and the club’s difficult start to the season.

The Reds have had a miserable start to the Women’s Super League season, with zero points on the board after their opening six games.

Their cause has not been helped by numerous factors, including the loss of some key players and being unable to do the business they wanted in the summer transfer window.

Taylor has admitted that he was part of the problem after his late arrival at the club in the summer.
