Leicester City title-winner Jeff Schlupp won’t be able to haunt his former club after he suffered a hamstring injury.

City academy graduate Schlupp is now at Norwich after a free transfer from Crystal Palace in the summer, and looked set for a reunion with the club at Carrow Road this weekend.

But utility man Schlupp pulled up with a hamstring issue on Wednesday night, during the Canaries’ 1-1 draw with Sheffield Wednesday, and recovery in time for the weekend is not expected.

“It looks like a hamstring again,” boss Liam Manning said. “It doesn’t look good. We’ve got enough as it is, it really doesn’t help.

“I’m scratching my head. I’ve never experienced it before. When I look at the work that’s done, we play Saturday and I thought he (Schlupp) was outstanding first half.
