The transfer window may be closed but there are players out there the Hatters could sign, if the selected player is out of contract.

The last twenty-four hours have seen Luton Town linked with a move for a former Champions League winner who has, previously, played for both Liverpool and Arsenal.

The speculation is being led by – Sport Bible – which is, basically, inferring that Jack Wilshere should try and lure his former team-mate, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to Kenilworth Road.

Oxlade-Chamberlain is a free agent after leaving the Portuguese side, Benfica, and is looking for a new club.

Now 32-years-of-age, he is currently training with the Arsenal youngsters and has not played a competitive game since May 2025.
