With the Hatters having played their FA Cup 1st round tie, on Friday evening, beating Forest Green Rovers 4-3, yesterday (Saturday) was a leisurely affair.

I chose to relax on the sofa watching Soccer Saturday, with the score updates being my main source of entertainment.

But as the games kicked off and the scores started to flood in, one game caught my attention, the FA Cup tie between Macclesfield and AFC Totten.

Every time I looked up, another goal had been scored but the tie really caught my attention when S. Rendell was credited with a goal for AFC Totten.

Surely it couldn’t be the Scott Rendell!

Well, it was, it turns out that Scott, now 39-years-of-age, is still playing the game and is the captain of AFC Totten.

Sadly, AFC Totten were, in the end, beaten 6-3 with Scott scoring twice in what was the highest scoring game of the day.
