Lucas Andersen left Queens Park Rangers at the end of last season and is yet to find a new club.

The Dane admits he’ll have to accept the consequences of not entertaining offers he’s received so far. Campo.dk cover the latest comments made by the former QPR man.

QPR were able to sign the 31-year-old on free transfer in February 2024. That was after he’d terminated his contract with AaB Fodbold.

Martí Cifuentes had previously managed him at the Danish club and the pair reunited at QPR. Andersen played 51 matches in all competitions for the Championship side, of which 35 were from last season. He was mainly used as a substitute at the London club.

Earlier this month, Bold reported the ex-QPR man had received offers from Olympiakos Nicosia of Cyprus and a few unnamed clubs from Saudi Arabia. However, the player turned all of them down and is still waiting for the right club.

Although he hasn’t found a club since leaving QPR, Andersen says he won’t join a club just for the sake of it.
