Last night, it was fair to say that the Hatters qualified for the 2^nd round of the FA Cup by the skin of their teeth.

After leading 3-0, and with the game looking comfortable, all our old failings resurfaced, and a Robbie Savage inspired side almost produced the first major shock of the FA Cup 1^st round.

Recovering from 3-0 down, to level at 3-3, it, to me, looked as if there was only going to be one winner, and it wasn’t to be Luton Town.

But such is the magic of the FA Cup, the Hatters snatched, courtesy of Gideon Kodua, a late, stoppage time winner.

After the game Jack Wilshere, courtesy of an interview with the TNT Sports team and as reported by the – BBC – had this to say:

“That’s what happens when you don’t match the effort of the Forest Green Rovers players.”

“It’s tough because you have to stay calm and you want the players to see us staying calm.”

“It’s probably a bit where we’ve been all season and it’s tough, but we won and hopefully we can use that for this season.”
