Ruud Gullit has called out Arne Slot for two ‘strange’ decisions the Liverpool head coach has made this season. The Reds have lost five of their last six matches in all competitions, and dropped to seventh in the Premier League following the latest round of fixtures after losing 3-2 away at Brentford.

Slot, who led Liverpool to the Premier League title in his first season in charge, admitted following Saturday’s loss to the Bees that he had yet to find an answer to the Reds’ ongoing tactical problems, which opponents have continuously exploited during their recent slump.

The Liverpool head coach has always been open when explaining tactics of both his side and the opposition.
