Thomas Frank has revealed what he liked about Randal Kolo Muani’s performance for Tottenham Hotspur against Everton.

Kolo Muani arrived on loan at Spurs on transfer deadline day, and it has taken nearly two months for him to make his first start for the Lilywhites.

The Frenchman has finally put his injury issues behind him, and he led the line for Spurs at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, getting the nod over both Mathys Tel and Richarlison.

The 26-year-old was feeding on scraps for most of the game in what was a very cagey affair, but he was a willing runner for 61 minutes before being replaced by Richarlison.

The on-loan PSG man did not get many clear-cut chances, and it was a tough first assignment, being up against two physical centre-halves in Michael Kean and James Tarkowski.

Frank has admitted that he was pleased with what he saw from Kolo Mauni in terms of his movement off the ball and pointed out that the striker is still working his way up to full fitness.
