Tottenham Hotspur have been credited with an interest in an experienced Bayern Munich star, who has fallen down Vincent Kompany’s pecking order.

Spurs have a good relationship with Bayern, with the two clubs involved in four different transfer deals over the last two years.

Harry Kane and Eric Dier went from N17 to the Allianz Arena, while Mathys Tel and Joao Palhinha have come in the other direction.

Reports indicate that Tottenham could hold talks with Bayern over a permanent deal for Palhinha in January, but he is not the only player that the Lilywhites are allegedly interested in.

According to FlashScore, Tottenham are one of several clubs interested in Bayern defender Kim Min-jae, who is no longer a regular starter for the Bavarian side.

It is pointed out that the South Korean has fallen behind in Vincent Kompany’s pecking order, with Jonathan Tah and Dayot Upamecano being the Belgian’s preferred centre-back pairing at the moment.

If the 28-year-old is put up for sale next summer, several clubs across Europe are expected to show interest, with Spurs being one of them.
