Tottenham Hotspur supporters will not like what the Premier League have announced ahead of their trip to Everton this Sunday.

The critics of Thomas Frank’s style of play are growing ever louder as Spurs continue to struggle when it comes to creating chances.

The Dane desperately needs another win on Sunday as Tottenham are set to play in Everton’s new Hill Dickinson Stadium for the first time.

While Spurs have a relegation-worthy home record in the Premier League this season, they have the joint-best away record in the division, and the Danish coach will be hoping that continues.

It has now been confirmed by the Premier League that Craig Pawson will be officiating Tottenham’s clash at Merseyside.

This may not please a lot of Spurs fans as they will remember that Pawson was the man who refereed their 1-0 defeat against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last term, where he did something very controversial.

He took six whole minutes to determine whether a goal from Pape Sarr should have stood, before finally ruling it out, deciding that Tottenham midfielder’s challenge in the build-up was a foul.
