Opta’s Supercomputer has revised its prediction on where Tottenham Hotspur will finish in the Premier League following their 3-0 win at Everton.

Tottenham have proven themselves to be an extremely solid and well-organised team away from home this season, and they delivered another professional performance in Merseyside on Sunday.

Spurs became the first team to win at Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium and moved back to third place in the Premier League table after the result.

It is a strange-looking top four at the moment in the division, with Bournemouth sitting in second and Sunderland in fourth, but Tottenham appear to be right in the thick of the race for a top-four finish.

After their 2-1 loss at home against Aston Villa last week, Opta predicted that Spurs would finish in 10th place, accumulating 54.61 points.

However, Opta’s algorithm has now revised its prediction after seeing Frank’s men keep yet another clean sheet and emerge with another three points from their trip up to Everton.

Opta’s prediction table now has Tottenham finishing in eighth place with 58.13 points after their latest win.

However, the supercomputer still only gives Thomas Frank’s men a 19.42 per cent chance of qualifying for the Champions League.
