Tottenham Hotspur’s Kevin Danso reminded everyone of his class with a dominant display against Everton, and the underlying numbers back it up.

Tottenham Hotspur got back to winning ways last time out against Everton with a commanding 3-0 victory away from home.

Thomas Frank’s side became the first team to beat Everton at their new ground, the Hill Dickson Stadium, maintaining their unbeaten record on the road this season.

It was a performance built on solidity at the back, where both centre-backs stood out. Micky van de Ven grabbed a brace, while he and Kevin Danso produced a faultless performance that helped Tottenham secure a fourth clean sheet of the season.

Spurs fans have been full of praise for Kevin Danso, with many claiming that he is too good to be a backup option after his latest display against Everton.

The Austrian was outstanding from start to finish, marshalling the defence and keeping Everton’s forwards at bay as Thomas Frank’s men restricted them to just two shots on target and two big chances created.
