Cardiff City signed goalkeeper Nathan Trott from FC Copenhagen on a season-long loan deal in August. The Danish club have confirmed the Bluebirds have secured a purchase option.

Trott has six clean sheets and conceded 11 goals from 13 matches so far for the League One side.

Last season, he started as first-choice stopper at Copenhagen and was demoted to the bench in the second half of the season. Earlier this week, he told Tipsbladet of his desire to prove himself at Cardiff City.
