Rangers fans witnessed another woeful display as Brann won 3-0 in their Europa League showdown on Thursday.

Brann Stadion hosted Danny Rohl’s team on 23 October, with Emil Kornvig, Jacob Sorensen and Noah Holm finding the back of the net.

The Light Blues faced familiar issues against the Norwegian outfit as they looked all over defensively, something that hasn’t changed since Russell Martin’s time in G51.

Rohl dropped Derek Cornelius and Bojan Miovski from the starting lineup, and while the players let the German manager down, Vasilis Fotias’ refereeing could’ve been better.

Authorities need to send a message and hand Kornvig a double-digit ban after pretending to be hit in the face by Djeidi Gassama at the Brann Stadion.

In the 37th minute of the fixture, the Norwegian outfit’s midfielder got into a tussle with the 22-year-old attacker and went down, leading to a yellow card for the Gers forward.

On further inspection, it was clear that Kornvic was pretending to be hit in the face by the French attacker, which certainly goes against the spirit of the game.
