The referee and VAR officials for Celtic versus Rangers in the Premier Sports Cup semi-final have been confirmed.

The two Glasgow clubs will get a break from their stuttering league campaigns this Sunday when they meet each other at Hampden in what promises to be a tasty last four clash in the League Cup.

Danny Rohl will taste an Old Firm in just his fourth match in charge of Rangers, having got his first win over Kilmarnock yesterday. Brendan Rodgers is under pressure after defeat to Hearts left his side eight points behind and cup success would certainly help lift the mood again.

Both have the chance to boost their league campaigns tomorrow night, the Ibrox side at Hibs and Celtic at home to Falkirk. After that, all eyes will be on the national stadium.

Nick Walsh will be the man in the middle for the big game after the Scottish FA confirmed their officials, and he will be assisted by Daniel McFarlane and Frank Connor.

Steven McLean, who refereed Celtic's defeat at Tynecastle, is on VAR duties and his assistant is Andrew Dallas
