While the majority of the Liverpool squad have been away on international duty during the October break, a handful of Reds are already back at the AXA Training Centre after not being called up by their nations. Alisson Becker was left out of the Brazil squad after injuring his hamstring against Galatasaray, while Wataru Endo withdrew from the Japan squad after suffering his own hamstring issue in Arne Slot’s side’s loss to Chelsea.

The pair have joined Giovanni Leoni on Liverpool’s injury list after the Italian suffered a season-ending ACL injury on his debut against Southampton last month.

Elsewhere, ahead of the Reds’ clash with Manchester United on Sunday, they also have doubts over Ibrahima Konate and Ryan Gravenberch.
